What is WebMail?
- Webmail is a method of accessing your email through a website.
The advantage to this method is that you can access it anywhere quickly and easily.
You don't even need to be using your own computer or internet connection.
Just browse to webmail.saber.net and log in.
However, WebMail is not a full e-mail program.
It offers e-mail style features, but they aren't as nice
as those available in a full client such as Outlook, Mac Mail, or Thunderbird.
Any e-mail stored in WebMail stays on our servers.
We do not backup your e-mail, address book, or other data stored on our servers.
This mail could be lost because we don't make backups for you.
If you want to keep a large archive of old e-mail, it is best to use a full e-mail client.
Such a client stores the e-mail on your computer where
you can back it up as much or little as you need.

How do I log in?
- Put in your full e-mail address & your e-mail password.
Click the Login button

How do I see the size of my e-mails?
- If it is activated the size will show to the right.
To display the size of emails:
- Click Options at the top of the page
- Click on Index Order in the Options list
- Select Size from the drop-down menu
- Click the Add button
- Click on INBOX on the left side of the window
You should now see the size listed next to the e-mail in your Inbox.

Can I change the number of messages per page in my Inbox?
- You can change the number of messages per page
To set a different number of messages:
- Click Options at the top of the page
- Click on Display Preferences in the Options list
- Type a new number into Number of Messages per Page
in the Mailbox Display Options section
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page
- Click on the Submit button to save your changes
- Click on INBOX on the left side of the window
You should now see the requested number of messages per page in your Inbox.

I’m getting a lot of junk e-mail, how do I set my
junk e-mail filter?
- The junk mail filter is handled by the Barracuda spam filter.

- How do I delete messages in WebMail?
- That depends on how many you would like to delete:
- How do I delete 1 message at a time?
- When you click on a message, it will highlight
red, signifying that it has been selected. Near the top of the page,
there will be a red circle with a slash through it; that is the Delete
icon. Simply select that and it will delete the selected message.
- How do I delete several messages that are
not close together?
- First, you can hold the CTL
key on your keyboard while selecting messages, that will highlight
all the ones you select, then click delete and your set to go.
- How do I delete several messages that
are lined up in a row?
- Select the first message in the group, then hold the
shift key and click on the last message in the group. That will select
all the messages from the first one you selected, to the last one.
You can do that with any number of messages.
- How do I completely empty a mailbox?
- Next to the Unread button
on the bottom of the WebMail screen, there is an 'all' button.
That button will select all the messages currently on that page,
allowing you to delete an entire page at a time.
- How do I remove only the unread messages?
- Click on the option near the bottom of
the page labeled “Unread” to highlight all the messages that have
the blue sun next to them. Then you can click the red cirle with the
slash to delete those selected emails.

- Why can't I send Mail?
- Is there an error saying "The verification code is incorrect?"
The WebMail may not have an Identity set. To set an identity:
- Log in to WebMail with your user name & password
- Click on Personal Settings at the top left of the page
- Select Identities from the list of tabs
- There must be at least ONE identity here. If there are none, click New identity to add one.
- Most of the form can be blank. Just fill in these values:
- Display name - [put in the name you want other people to see here]
- Primary E-mail - [put your full e-mail address here: user@domain.ext]
- Click the Save button
You should now be able to send e-mail without trouble. If there are still problems, call tech support.

What's this "The verification code is incorrect" business?
- The verification code is called CAPTCHA.
This system was added to prevent spammers from abusing captured SaberNet accounts. Scripts and automated programs have trouble reading CAPTCHA.

What is CAPTCHA?
- CAPTCHA is a Human Verification System
Captcha takes some text and distorts it.
It's purpose is to detect whether a human or computer is giving the directions.
The distorted text should be readable by people, but confusing for a computer program.
It is usually used to exclude scripts and computer programs, only allowing humans.

Do I have to use all CAPS?
- No, our current version is not case sensetive
You may use lower or UPPER case, or any Mix of the Two.

How does it help?
- CAPTCHA helps prevent spam and other abuses
Computer Scripts and Programs can allow many actions to be taken quickly.
Spammers and other malicious users employ scripts for such tasks as Mass Mailing.
A Spammer can automatically send messages to a long list of people by just feeding the list to a script.
CAPTCHA confuses scripts and helps prevent spam.
